Masters of Creation - site redesign
One thing that I never stopped doing throughout my career is web design. With this now being one of my primary sources of income I have revamped the site in the hope that it will bring new customers.
You can check out the site Masters Of Creation, it contains examples of previous projects and works in progress.
Please leave a comment regarding the design or how I can improve the site.

Best Laid Plans
Well the planned move to the other side of the planet never took place due to the global credit crunch and lack of planning on my behalf. As such this blog sadly wasn't needed and fell into a state of disrepair.
I returned from my trip to Thailand saddened that my planned move never occurred but adamant that I would pick myself up - work hard and try again.
I went into partnership with a local shop owner near to where I currently worked and got busy repairing things. Two years later I had made no significant progress in improving my lot in life I decided this wasn't working either. I knew that I could repair things, I knew that I could find customers I just found it difficult to earn the type of money I wanted with the overheads of staff and a shop.
I decided to go it alone. So here I am once again starting up a new business. This one is called Chingford Computer Services This time one with absolutely minimal overheads. Most of the time to perform a repair all you need is your brain and when parts are required there are sufficient local retailers who stock these parts that I can get most same day - with only a tiny fraction having to be ordered via the Internet.

I've only been doing it for two weeks now - but I have already made more money in two weeks than I ever did working from the shop. I am very positive about the future and see great potential for future growth. I still plan to travel the world more - but I am feeling that maybe England still has something left to offer me after all.
So any questions you might have relating to IT advice please ask it here and I will be happy to help if I can.

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)"
Garry, I have a dell USB wireless network card. It has stopped working and in my device manager there is a yellow exclamation mark against it. When I click on it it says: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"
Claire
Ok - normally I would suggest checking the cables you should use USB 2 cables with USB 2 devices and sockets etc.... however, as this used to work here is the solution:
The easiest way to solve a USB error code 10 in Windows XP is to follow the steps below to remove and reinstall all USB controllers.
1. Click on Start
2. Right Click on My Computer, click on Properties
3.Click on the Hardware tab
4. Click the Device Manager button.
5. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers section.
6. Right-click every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers node, and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
7. Restart the computer, and allow the computer to reinstall the USB controllers. H. Plug in the removable USB device , and then test to make sure that the issue is resolved.

Sorry! Content Advisor will not allow you to see this site.
My first problem!
"Garry, can you help. Whenever I try to access a website it says: Sorry! Content Advisor will not allow you to see this site. Many thanks. Keith."
There is a simple solution to this.
1. Open internet Explorer
2. Go to tools - internet options
3. Find the content tab
4. Disable content advisor
Hope that helps Keith.

I am a web designer who has decided to leave his well paid job and move to a small island in South East Asia. It is my intention to earn a living online through freelance web design and remote IT support - if you need either of these services please email me at services@mastersofcreation.com.
